Beartooth Bullets is a company committed to excellence. Providing not only the very best hand-cast bullets available to the public, but customer service, technical assistance and above all the highest level of integrity.
We are accountable to not only our customers, but first to God. 1Corinthians 10:31 "Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." No, we aren't perfect, but our goal is to do all humanly possible to be men of integrity.
>> About Production
All of our bullets are hand-cast then heat-treated to a BHN 21+, the same hardness of straight linotype alloy. These bullets have a lower antimony content than linotype however, which results in a bullet which isn't as brittle, having a more ductile quality resulting in superior energy transfer on steel and live targets.
None of our bullets are ever machine processed or handled. Each step of the production process is totally hand done, resulting in bullets that are sorted and quality inspected at least three times before being shipped. Our objective is not to compete with the manufacturers of mass-produced machine cast and lubed bullets; but rather to offer a premium bullet, hand produced and held to strict quality standards. This hand-production necessitates limited production capabilities and often results in severe backlogs of orders, however we refuse to compromise our quality standards for quantity production. Although there is usually a wait for our product, we promise the absolute highest quality projectiles when the finally do arrive to you.
The LBT design bullets carried in our lineup offer the absolute finest in lead bullet design and quality. These molds are strictly custom made and offer superior performance when compared to conventional cast bullets. Due to the labor-intensive nature of production, the price is higher for our projectiles, but is superior in quality, performance and accuracy to any other alloy bullets offered on the market today.
>> About Inventory
We generally have little or no inventory on hand. The very nature of the services we provide precludes on-hand inventory. We strive to custom size bullets to our customer's needs whenever the necessary information is supplied. Occasionally we will have on hand some of the more popular bullets in "standard" sizing, however, most times the demands for our product are such that we are a few weeks backlogged in our orders. Simply meaning that most times every bullet we make is spoken for before it falls from the mold.
>> About Orders
We accept online orders, mail orders, or telephone orders. All orders are processed first come, first served. It is the only fair way to conduct business. It doesn't matter whether you order one box of bullets or several thousand, priority is strictly order of receipt. The only exceptions to this rule are when someone orders our Technical Guide (Shipped Parcel Post ASAP), fire-lapping supplies (generally on-hand), or the chance that the bullets ordered were in stock. >> About Sizing
In our FAQ page you will find rather extensive information on sizing recommendations. We strive to provide you, our customer with projectiles that shoot superbly the FIRST time around, by tailoring them to your needs dimensionally. We can't stress this enough! Sizing is everything, and one service that sets us apart from other makers. Please take advantage of our services to the fullest!
>> About Pricing
Our pricing has changed very little in the last five years. Our costs continue to increase, some of them dramatically. However, we are dedicated to providing not only a superior projectile, but doing so at an affordable cost. Inevitably our pricing must go up in the future, however, we do not believe in gouging or price fixing, and assure you that whatever increases in our pricing structure will only reflect rising component cost of production, packaging and shipping.
Another aspect of pricing, which creates frequent inquiry, is "price breaks for volume buying". Due to the labor-intensive nature of our production, we are not in a position to further discount our bullets. We try hard to provide affordable excellence in our product, and based on our limited production capabilities, can discount them no more!
>> About Shipping
We ship United Parcel Service and United Postal Service to the lower 48 United States. Pricing is directly from the rate calculators found in our Order Info page. We make nothing on freight, only what it actually costs to ship your package.
Shipping charges are staggering when considering only one box of bullets. Compare however the costs of shipping five or more boxes to that of one box. As total order weight increases, the cost per box decreases dramatically. Your savings on volume orders is significant in shipping only.
When shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, Parcel Post, US Postal Service is the best option in our experience.
Foreign order delivery, call, or E-mail, for shipping options and pricing!
We now offer many different shipping options. With the most recent increases in UPS shipping rates, often times United States Postal Service shipping via parcel post is much more cost effective, especially when shipping parcels to zones 6-8. We offer shipping selections of cheapest method, or your specifying either UPS or US Postal Service.

We accept all personal checks, bank drafts, certified checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We do not bill you at the time you order, our policy is to bill you (or process your check/money order) at the time of shipment.
As mentioned earlier, there often times there is a significant backlog in our workload. Please don't be surprised to find that the check you sent us has not been processed. It won't happen until we ship your order.

We are a small company with limited human resources. The very nature of our production methods severely dictates the stewardship of our time. We appreciate all communications from our customers. E-mail will generally speaking be answered only once daily Monday-Friday, so please don't assume we are unresponsive when you don't get an immediate response to your communication.
