If you have ever cleaned up a set of loading dies that have been neglected for a while, you know the chore it can be! It is important to keep dies clean and free of residue to prevent scratching of cases and scoring of the dies themselves. The carbon and bullet lube that can become encrusted on a set of dies is often times a challenge to conveniently clean out. Rather than laboring over this task, simply use some aerosol type carburetor cleaner on them! It will quickly remove any carbon deposits, bullet lube or case sizing lubricant from the dies and leave them free of any oily film - without any scrubbing or scouring! (Make sure to do this either outside or in a well ventilated area!)
