Silence those squeaky, rattling sling swivels on your hunting rifle! Simply run a piece of dental floss through the hole in the swivel stud two or three times before attaching your sling. The dental floss is waxed, and helps quiet the squeak without smelly oils, and the extra wrap or two of dental floss tightens up the tolerances of the hole in the stud, greatly reducing or outright eliminating that annoying rattle associated with QD type swivels.
